MR. RICK GLENN

Mr. Rick Glenn is the school’s Director of Curriculum and Operations. He has been doing martial arts for over 20+ years and knows that our programs will enrich your and your family’s lives as much as it has his own.

Mr. Glenn and his staff have devoted themselves to creating a professional, dynamic and effective martial arts program that can enrich your life. Martial arts techniques provide training of both the body and mind toward the goals of physical fitness, self-defense, self-control, and self-realization.

Some of Mr. Glenn’s qualifications include:

  • Fourth Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo

  • Internationally Certified Instructor for the World Traditional Taekwondo Union, Songahm Taekwondo Federation and American Taekwondo Association

  • Graduate of Kansas State University in Mechanical Engineering

  • Thirty-nine years with Kimberly-Clark Corporation holding several Engineering and Management positions

  • 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2015 and 2024 American Taekwondo Association State Champion 

  • CPR / AED Certified

  • Youth Protection Certified

  • Certified Bullying Prevention Instructor

  • ATA Legacy Facilitator

  • National Tournament Judge

  • Certified Protech Instructor for the following weapons:

    • Single and Double Ssahng Joel Bang (Nunchaku)

    • Single and Double Bahng Mahng Ee (Short Stick)

    • Mid-Range and Long Range Jahng Bong (Staff)

    • Jee Pahng Ee (Korean Hook Cane)

    • Oh Sung Do (Broadsword)

    • Gum Do (Katana)

    • Combat Weapons

  • Married 42 years to wife Sharon, we have two sons: Derrick (4th Degree Black Belt, Certified Instructor) and Zachary (4th Degree Black Belt, Certified Instructor)
